Patrice Désilets, who co-created Assassin’s Creed, and her team, Panache Digital Games, will release the latest game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year. And from the latest video, we learn that there is almost nothing to limit free discovery, but it is hampered by little things like the absolute lack of a map.
In vain, well, we haven’t mastered the ins and outs of mapping 10 million years ago. But that’s exactly the point of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. In essence, as monkeys, we need to explore our world, gain new knowledge and pass it on to our descendants, while also protecting our group from the thousands of dangers looming over us, as we will never be at the top of the food chain in a story spanning nearly two million years.
