In the latest list of BrandZ TOP 100 Global Brands – the most valuable brands in the world in 2015, prepared by Millward Brown – Apple took first place, knocking down last year’s leader, which was the Google brand.

Apple was recognized as the most valuable brand in the world in the already tenth annual report by Millward Brown BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2015. The Cupertino company recorded 67 percent. increase in brand value to the amount of $ 246.9 billion. For the fourth time in the last five years, Apple is ranked number one. Last year, Google was the most valuable brand (see TOP 100 most valuable brands in the world in 2014).

The success of the iPhone 6 and the enormous popularity of the Apple brand over the last 10 years meant that the value of the brand increased by 1,446% over a decade.

The top ten most valuable global brands in the report are mainly technology companies and telecoms. In addition to Apple and Google, the TOP 10 ranking included: Microsoft, IBM, Visa, AT&T, Verizon, Coca-Cola, McDonald and Marlboro.

Other significant tech companies on the list include Facebook (12th), Amazon (14th), HP (39th), Oracle (44th), Samsung (45th), and Twitter (92nd). Interestingly, the value of Facebook has increased by almost 100%. compared to the previous year.

The brand value research methodology prepared by Millward Brown is based, inter alia, on actual sales results and data from 3 million consumers on approximately 100,000 different brands in over 50 countries around the world.
