Personal care brand will be the first to use Reach Generator

Dove is the first personal care brand in Brazil to use the new Facebook format, Reach Generator. The aim is to amplify the reach of positive messages for women by encouraging them to rethink the way beauty is exposed in the world. The tool is part of the package of news for advertisers presented by the social network at the beginning of the year, together with the change of Timeline and Logout. Through it, it will be possible to accelerate the reach of the brand’s content with fans, transforming daily posts into “sponsored stories”, increasing the coverage of actions and, consequently, social engagement with Dove.

With Reach Generator it will be possible to reach 75% of fans each month and about 50% of fans each week. Fans will see messages on the right side of their home page or in their desktop news feed. “Dove has been working to change the way beauty is seen by women and society in general and, in this scenario, Facebook has become an increasingly relevant platform to exercise close contact and help us spread these positive messages , encouraging women to see their own beauty”, explains Bianca Shen, Marketing Manager at Dove. “Thus, we have great expectations for this new format to make it possible to impact and engage our fans to achieve this goal.” The post below was inserted on the first day of using Reach Generator and in just half an hour 1,277 shares were made. A day later, the same content was shared more than 10,000 times, representing 2500% more than Saturday’s publication, without the tool.
