Check out the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 – there will be more significant differences next year when the studio updates the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions.

It seems that there will be no delays in the release of Cyberpubnk 2077, because CD Projekt Red published a little over two weeks before the December 10, 2020 release date of the gameplay from the game running on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. All this so that players could feel the excitement even more before the upcoming RPG. Separate videos show the graphical differences between the consoles – though keep in mind that the studio plans to release a more significant update for the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions in 2021.

Since the PlayStation and Xbox clips represent different gameplay segments, it’s hard to say which console the game looks best on. What’s more, 1080p for movies and YouTube compression make it difficult to judge where the game looks better – on the new Sony or Microsoft console?

Still, there are some differences to be seen, especially in how the PS5 and Xbox Series X deal with reflections, with these elements being more vivid on new consoles. Unfortunately, the videos don’t show how the game will run on the primary PS4 and Xbox One. Assuming CD Projekt Red won’t delay Cyberpunk, we’ll likely get an even more detailed summary of all the graphical differences between each console release when releases like Digital Foundry get their hands on the game.
