A trusted source leaked a wealth of information about the Elden Ring, including the principle of the open world.

- These mostly affect the open world of the game
- The source had previously predicted the details of Sekiro
So far, very little is known about the new game by the creators of Dark Souls, the Elden Ring, created in collaboration with George RR Martin. Now, however, that may change, as an internal source has leaked a large amount of information about the program, quite precisely about its open world.
Based on the leaks, the Elden Ring will not be the traditional AAA category open world game, but will rather follow the example of Shadow of the Colossus, meaning we won’t have to fear many of the same locations and opponents, every detail of the map will have some significance. Furthermore, it is also worth noting that wherever possible, the landscape will be quite articulated vertically, i.e. larger level differences can be expected. And the landscape itself is said to have been inspired by Scotland, but that does not mean that the world of the Elden Ring is nourished by Celtic or Gallic mythology.
We should also expect dynamic time of day change and weather, and opponents will not be waiting for us in a fixed place, but will wander the world, so it could easily be a bigger monster that we escape later in the same way in another location. Finally, it is important to note that, of course, the more enclosed spaces characteristic of FromSoftware’s previous titles will be present in the game, but not as strongly as before.
Of course, it’s all just a leak, an unofficial announcement, so it’s worth dealing with reservations, but it might be worth noting that the source from which the information came has predicted several elements of Sekiro in the past, so you probably know something about FromSoftware’s games.
