- The Ultimate Team game mode is expanded with a new rewards system
- Within the framework of the Season objectives, we have to perform various tasks for awards
- Like the battle pass system, which is especially popular in battle royale games
Although there are still a few months left until FIFA 20 is released, information about the game is already leaking heavily. It was recently revealed, for example, that EA Sports has an exclusive deal with Liverpool, and now one of the game’s most popular modes, the Ultimate Team, has come into the spotlight, which appears to be essentially a battle pass.
The reward system, simply referred to as Season objectives, covers exactly what can be inferred from its name. Players will be given a variety of challenges within the Ultimate Team to complete during a given 6-8 week season. By ticking the tasks, you can move up a level, and as you progress through the leaderboard, more and more rewards open up. This type of system is used primarily by battle royale games (Fortnite, PUBG, or Apex Legends, published by EA), but there are indications that the publisher is confident that it will continue to operate within FIFA.
