FIFA 21: October 9 release, free migration to PS5 and Xbox Series X

FIFA 21 will be released on October 9th. EA announced this yesterday at its EA Live virtual conference. The football game will try to make the transition between console generations invisible, as it will be offered on PS5 and Xbox Series X if you buy it on PS4 or Xbox One.

It’s not really a surprise: FIFA 21 will be released normally this year. Publisher EA held a virtual conference yesterday in which it presented its upcoming games. There had been few announcements, but sports game fans still have something to look forward to by the end of the year.

FIFA 21 was presented in a previously announced Madden 21 crossover trailer. The game will be released on consoles on October 9 on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on next-generation consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X as soon as they are released.

It is not necessary to purchase the game twice. If you have it on PS4 or One, the game will be free on PS5 and Series X (alone if you have a disc player ). EA will not pass a system created by manufacturers, such as Microsoft Smart Delivery, but by its own service.

FIFA 21 will work still a time on the Frostbite engine. As we can see in the trailer, the game doesn’t change much, but we will be entitled to a more faithful to life Kylian Mbappé. I hope this vintage is better than the previous one, which has received a lot of criticism.

There is not only football in life

In terms of sports games, EA hasn’t just focused on soccer. The publisher also has announced Skate 4, the new installment of his beloved series. No images of the game in this case, only confirmation of the existence of the game.

After the next arrival of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater on the new consoles, we can say that skateboards are on the rise again!
