First Open Beta Update for OnePlus 6T Brings iPhone Data Support on OnePlus Switch
Manu J, Global OnePlus Product Operations Manager, announced on the OnePlus forum the arrival of a new OxygenOS Open Beta build for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. This is the ninth open beta for OnePlus 6, and the first for OnePlus 6T. The beta update has the same changelog for both phones.

The beta update has the same changelog for both phones. The security patch was updated to the last of December. Added messaging, call history from unknown numbers, better SMS spam filtering and call protection, and the ability to migrate data from iPhone with OnePlus Switch.
Since this is a beta release, it’s expected that it won’t be as smooth as a stable update. So if you choose to install , make sure you’re prepared to take the risks as you might experience a few issues here and there – you can also notify the OnePlus team about bugs in their bug reporting forums.
Also, if they choose to install this beta update, they will no longer receive the stable updates sent by OnePlus and will only receive beta updates via OTA. However, they may choose to go back to the official stable OTA path, but this will require a full data and cache cleanup.
OnePlus recently released the Android Pie Update for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T via the Open Beta channel. OnePlus 6 has already been updated for Android Pie, while OnePlus 6T already came with Android Pie pre-installed.
OnePlus is working on a 5G Phone for 2019, which will cost about $200 more than the successor to OnePlus 6 (OnePlus 7?)
