Nvidia announced on Thursday that GeForce NOW, the company’s cloud gaming system, will bring a touch version of Fortnite to iOS via Safari. Nvidia notes that while games in the GeForce NOW library are best experienced on mobile devices using a gamepad, it is working with Epic Games to develop a version of Fortnite because Working on the game to make it touch compatible will delay its release.”

Fortnite will soon make its return to iOS with Nvidia’s cloud gaming service

Mobile Fortnite players will be able to enter the Epic PC Store and find Fortnite in the iOS version of Ge Force NOW. While it’s not exactly as easy as playing Fortnite when it was available on the App Store, those who have only played on iOS will have the opportunity again.

Documents from the court battle between Epic and Apple claim that 116 million Fortnite players played on iOS and 73 million played on iOS alone. The number of daily active users on iOS was 2.5 million or 10% of the 25 million who played every day across all platforms. More in-app purchases were made on iOS than Android.
