Publisher THQ has released a new map for Frontlines: Fuel of War on Xbox Live Marketplace. The map is available to download for free from today. “Boneyard” isn’t just new, but this map features the automatic shotgun, a Rocket Jeep and Red Star Transport helicopter, which have never been seen before in the game. The description of the folder is as follows:

“As Western Coalition armor closes in on the last functional Red Star nuclear missile facility, Alliance tanks rally to defend their last hopes for victory in Europe. The frontlines have been drawn across the Shilnaya Balka missile silos. Coalition and Alliance troops stare each other down across the complex, each waiting for the other to blink.”

Boneyard appears to be the first map in a series of five maps that will be released in the near future.

Frontlines: Fuel of War is a futuristic first person shooter set in response to contemporary events. Following an energy crisis and a global depression, two parties, the Western Coalition (US/EU) and the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China) are fighting a conflict with each other. Expect a free world where you can run around and more than sixty military weapons and vehicles as you collect information in advanced ways and fight with a special system in which the ‘front’ takes a special place.
