Fun Communications realizes online transfers for Deutsche Telekom

Fun Communications developed payment by online transfer on the Internet for T-Pay, the online payment service from Deutsche Telekom. The service provider was the first company to bring the process onto the market in 2000.

To pay by online transfer on the web, the customer only needs the PIN from his home banking for legitimation at his bank and a TAN to confirm the transfer. During the payment process, the customer is shown a pre-filled transfer form directly from his bank or a bank data center. As with home banking, the solution also uses the bank’s security standard (HBCI / FinTS) and the SSL – Secure Socket Layer encryption method when paying by online transfer.

The 128-bit protocol is considered a secure method for e-commerce transactions. The use of T-Pay online transfers should offer numerous advantages for shop providers. Transfers are credited directly to the merchant’s account and can then no longer be recalled, automated tools make it easier for the merchant, for example, to reverse transactions from the Distance Selling Act and lead to lower costs when processing payments.
