German Content Marketing Awards 2016 go to Allianz, Otto, Sanofi Genzyme and Vodafone

The German Content Marketing Prize was awarded yesterday. The award went to the content projects “I’ll show you the world of tomorrow” by Vodafone, “MS personally” by Sanofi Genzyme, “re: Blog” by Otto and the Allianz customer magazine.

For the second time, outstanding content marketing projects were awarded in the categories of content strategy, content creation and curation, content production and content distribution. The prize is awarded jointly by the magazine sales economy, Management Forum of the Handelsblatt publishing group and Meedia.

Sanofi Genzyme receives an award in the Content Strategy category

In the Content Strategy category, the jury was most impressed by the “MS Personal” project by Sanofi Genzyme. The drug manufacturer’s blog openly deals with the disease multiple sclerosis. Six bloggers with MS write about their experiences and everyday life with the disease. Numerous advisory videos and photo series offer assistance in dealing with MS.

Multichannel retailer Otto wins with the “re: Blog” project

In the “re: Blog”, the Otto trading company relies on transparent and target group-oriented communication on the subject of sustainability. In cooperation with bloggers, versatile stories and advice for a more conscious lifestyle are created. The content, which is divided into different sections, draws attention to problems and opportunities in everyday life.

Prize in the Content Production category goes to Allianz

The Allianz theme worlds customer magazines on nine complexes such as care, health or old-age provision as well as the target group specials for women, families and young professionals convinced the jury of the German Content Marketing Prize.

Infographics and studies are used to process all of the content in a way that is understandable and clear. In addition, interviews in which different people talk about their own philosophy of life and their career path strengthen the authenticity of the contributions.

Live streaming project “I’ll show you the world of tomorrow” from Vodafone

The content marketing project “I’ll show you the world of tomorrow” from Vodafone aims to show the possibilities of data roaming abroad. Together with bloggers like Mia Bühler, Vodafone travels abroad (e.g. London, Rome and Reykjavik) and streams for several hours over the roaming network. The city trip is documented on YouTube, Periscope and other social networks.
