The European elections as well as the parliamentary elections in Portugal are just around the corner, and Google intends to reinforce its efforts in order to combat this growing threat in order to protect, as well as inform voters, of the respective electoral campaigns at this most sensitive time.

Google launches ways to fight misinformation

With a focus on elections, Google has introduced a new process for verifying advertisers who will cover the European elections and their respective election campaigns. They also intend to launch a “transparency” report focusing on election announcements.
