Gotham Knights – There is a very serious emphasis on cooperative play
Fresh details have been revealed about the work taking place in the DC universe.
- The combat system of the Gotham Knights was adapted to the cooperative game
- Characters we don’t play with right now will also evolve
The GamesRadar crew was recently given the opportunity to interview members of the Gotham Knights development team, named executive producer Fleur Marty and creative director Patrick Redding, who shared with us several important details about the work on the DC universe, in which Batgirl, Hwood, Redwood, Redwood and hiding in Robin’s skin, we have to mess up the bad guys in Gotham City.
The interview revealed that the cooperative game option (which will be drop-in / drop-out, ie we will be able to jump in and out at any time) gets a very serious emphasis: the combat system of the Arkham games has also been changed to better suit the two-player venues were also designed to have enough space for team slapping.
Freedom will not only be in terms of cooperative play, as it will be possible to switch between characters at any time throughout the story, and the heroes we’re not playing with will be constantly evolving, ensuring they don’t lag behind in terms of abilities.
Gotham Knights, based on the WB Games Montreal team, will arrive on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One platforms sometime this year.
