Heineken launches new campaign and changes the color of its star


Newspaper adopted the “Timeline”

Just as The New York Times did, Folha de São Paulo’s history, since its first issue in 1921, is now available on Facebook. THE page brings the highlights of the newspaper’s 91 years, with photos, videos and reproductions of the front pages.

Folha is the first newspaper in Brazil to adopt the “Time Line”, mandatory for all pages from April onwards. With the timeline, brands will be able to explore the platform in a limited way. “It’s part of Facebook’s strategy to keep ad sales going,” says Mary Persia, Social Media editor at Folha. “There are moves towards diversifying the platform’s revenue sources, such as charging a percentage on sales that occur on the network, but advertising must remain the core of the business model.”
