A more than legitimate question, also because SIMs can have various “memory cuts”: the latest generation ones, for example, can have 512, 640 or 750 KB of memory and, obviously, the more space there is and more contacts and messages they can be stored inside them (which is very useful on older or basic mobile phones, since the most modern smartphones use local memory and cloud storage services to store the information in question, in a much more secure and effective way). To give you a practical example, 128K SIM cards typically allow you to store 250 contacts, while those of 256KB 500 contacts, but they are indicative values, as the memory could also be occupied by messages or other operator services.

This is not a very easy mission – given that the importance of space in the SIM, as I mentioned earlier, has diminished over time with the advancement of technology – but it can be achieved without too much effort. Here are all the details.

The first, and only, method of checking how many K a telephone operator’s SIM has TIM consists in going to verify the presence of this data on the plastic card in which the SIM was originally enclosed and / or on the SIM itself.
In the event that the information is not reported, I am sorry to inform you that there is no other way to find this information, with the exception of physically going to one of the numerous TIM shops scattered throughout the Italian cities (but, even in this case, they do not necessarily know how to answer you: you, however, go to the shop with your SIM and your identity document to certify that you are the owner).
Nor in the app MyTIM available for Android, neither in the version released for iOS / iPadOS is this information reported nor through the Settings of the devices you can find the memory capacity of the SIM.
Unfortunately, in case you were wondering, even the official TIM website is of no help in this particular case. By accessing your personal section through your MyTIM account it is not possible to have further information on your SIM. All I can tell you is that, being modern smartphones equipped with cloud-synchronized address books, and having SIMs a lot of memory available and very little data to save on it, the quantity of the latter will hardly cause you any problems.
To help you, however, I recommend that you move your contacts from the address book saved on the SIM to some cloud storage service that can save this information in the cloud, without “flooding” the SIM memory. You want to know how many K does your Vodafone SIM have? So, again, the first thing you can do is check the plastic card in which the new SIM was contained at the time of purchase. Normally, just below the space where the SIM was enclosed, various information on the SIM is shown, including its memory capacity.
In the event that, for any reason, you are unable to view the card, you can always use another method: use the do-it-yourself. To proceed, then, connected to the official Vodafone Internet page dedicated to access to DIY, enter yours credentials in the spaces provided and click on the button Log in. If you don’t have an account yet, however, you can quickly create one by pressing the button Sign in and following the on-screen wizard. Once logged in, on the main page called My dashboardtap on the item SIM details, located on the right of the screen. Once this is done you will see a panel open in which you can consult the details of your SIM, including the serial numberthe templatethe PUK code and, of course, the capacity of the SIM.
Through the app My Vodafoneavailable for Android on Play Store and alternative stores, and for iOS / iPadOS on the App Store, it is currently not possible to see more information about your SIM. So, for this reason, you can only use the original SIM card or the Vodafone website.
How do I know how many K my WINDTRE SIM has
As for the SIM cards of the telephone operator WINDTREthe best method is to consult the plastic card supplied with the SIM. In the event that it is not possible or in which the specific information is not reported on it, it is necessary to try to trace it through a WINDTRE center of your city, by going to the store with your SIM card and a valid identity document. On this Internet page you can find the WINDTRE store closest to you.
Neither the personal section on the WINDTRE website, nor is the app WINDTRE available for Android and iOS / iPadOS are in fact able to provide the user with this info. What you can see on the WINDTRE website, by logging into your account, is the SIM technology from which you can get an idea of its operation and speed (but unfortunately not the capacity). To proceed in this sense, go to the official WINDTRE website and press the icon Login located at the top right.
