The function is activated via the server by Facebook, therefore it is not necessary to carry out any preliminary procedure for the activation of this function, which is gradually released for all users of the social network.
How to Reel on Facebook
Having made the necessary premises relating to the most important characteristics of the Reel of Facebook let’s see together in detail how to make use of this tool dedicated to the creation and modification of short-term videos, for sharing them within the well-known social network.
To get started, launch theFacebook app on your smartphone, log into your account if necessary and tap the tab Reels located next to the wording storiesthen presses the button Create Reel to start creating and editing these videos.
Choose, first, the duration of the video you want to create (minimum 15 seconds and maximum 60 seconds) by pressing the relevant button, and then set it speed via the icon speedometer: you can choose between standard speeds (1x), fast video (up to a maximum of 3x) or slowed down (maximum 0.3x).
Among the other configuration options you can activate are the one related to adding filters (the icon of the smiley face) and the one that allows you to add a music track in the backgroundthrough the appropriate multimedia library visible by pressing the icon of musical note.
After choosing the song, you can also adjust, using the appropriate timelinethe minute you want it to play, so you can only use the chorus part, for example.
Have you selected all the options useful to prepare the creation of the movie? Very well, now then record a video on the spot, pressing recording icon in the center. Alternatively, you can import a previously created movie through the media gallery of your device: to do so, all you have to do is press on thevideo preview.
Furthermore, for create a Reel on Facebook you can record the video all at once or make it in multiple sequences, recording and stopping the recording at any time. This will give you more clips to edit later at any time.
For example, in case you made a mistake while registering, you can select the clip of your interest, press the button Deleteand confirm the cancellation by pressing the key Delete.
When finished recording or importing the video or clips, press the button Editin order to move on to the next stage of editing the movie just made.

No problem: press the icon of left arrow located at the top left, to return to the registration phase, then press the icon X at the top right and finally press the button Deleteto confirm the cancellation and do it all over again.
If, on the contrary, you have finished the changes and the result satisfies you, I guess you will want to know how to publish the Facebook Reel that you made. How to publish the Reels on Facebook
Have you created a Reel on Facebook and now would you like to know how to publish it? Don’t worry, this is a very simple operation to do and now I’m going to explain to you in detail how to do it.
In fact, as explained in the previous chapter, after having finished creating and editing the movie, you have to press the button Forwardto display the screen dedicated to publishing the movie named New Reel.
This section is also important for adjusting the settings relating to movie sharing and, specifically, for changing the privacy of the same.
But first you have to add a description for the movie to be published: then refer to the text field Describe your Reel to add an accompanying caption and also the hashtag relevant.
Once this is done, since the Reels are displayed in the appropriate screen and are visible in the search results, carefully choose the options to set regarding privacy.
For example, tap on the item All (the default option) and put the check mark on the homonymous entry, to make sure that the video is visible to anyone on Facebook and outside Facebook.
Also, if you have chosen privacy as an option Allyou can also allow or disallow others to create gods Remix (i.e. create a new Reel in response to the one you published). This option is enabled by default but you can set it to if you wish OFF the lever located in correspondence with the wording Enable remixin order to disable this optional option.
Returning to the privacy options, instead, put a check mark on the item Friends, if you want the Reel to be viewed only by those on your Facebook friends list. In this regard, if you want to avoid repeating this operation for each Reel, make sure to activate the check mark next to the option Set as the default audience for Reels.
