A while ago, when you created the account PSN to associate with yours PlayStation 4, you were quite hasty in indicating yours date of birth and alas, you realized you got it wrong. To deal with this and groped to correct your age, you tried to act using the options on your profile page, but with little result: you did not find, in fact, any useful item to change the date of birth entered and, for this reason, you are looking for a solution that will allow you to cope with it.

Before getting to the heart of this guide, let me give you some more information about the operation you are about to perform. To change the date of birth configured on the PlayStation 4, it is necessary to change the one declared on the main PlayStation Network profile matched to the console.
In this regard, I want to be clear right away: Sony does not allow, at least not in an “official” way, to change the date of birth declared at the time of registration through its PSN profile page.
However, at the time of writing this guide, it is possible to put into practice a little trick to still succeed in the enterprise: you have to log in to the Sony Mobile portal (i.e. the platform that also includes PSN) and link the PSN account to Sony Mobile services. In this way, it will be possible to easily change the date of birth declared on PSN.
This operation, however, has limitations: the procedure can only be carried out via the browser (including that of the PS4) and can be completed once. So, if you have already updated your date of birth on the Sony Mobile portal in the past, you will not be able to do this again, sorry.
Also, before you do anything, make sure you have the password PSN account: if you don’t remember it, call up the toolbar top of the PlayStation, select the icon Settings and press the button X of the pad on the same. Next, select the item Account management, tap on Log in and, after crushing the triangle button of the controller, enter theemail address connected to your account, press the button Come on and press the X button of the controller.
In this way, a confirmation email: open it, press the button Change Password, select one of the methods to verify your identity and press the button Continues.
Finally, enter the information requested, press again on Continues, enter the New password to use to log in and press the button OK. Note that following this procedure, you may have to log in again on connected devices.

How to change age on PS4
Having made all the necessary clarifications of the case and the PSN account password in hand, it’s time to get to the heart of this guide and explain how to change age on ps4, or rather, on your personal PlayStation Network account. As I mentioned earlier, this can be done once and must necessarily be done through browser, be it for PC, smartphone / tablet or PS4.
In particular, to start the console browser, move to the icon Internet browser located in the PS4 home menu and press the button X of the pad to open it. Now, to bring up the address bar / search bar, press the key triangle.
In any case, once you have opened the Internet browsing application you prefer, connected to the address https://account.sonymobile.com/it-IT/#/signin, enter theemail address with which you signed up to the PSN portal and press the button Log in. If necessary, in the same way, enter the password to access the account in the appropriate field and press again on Log in.
The game is practically done: if everything went smoothly, the website will invite you to update your Sony account to link it to Sony Mobile services, asking you to enter your date of birth.
At this stage, you just have to use the fields below to enter the day, the month and theyear of birth you intend to declare: pay close attention to the correctness of the data entered, since, I repeat once again, it is the only opportunity you have to make this change.
When you are done, put the check mark next to the box indicating the wording I have read the privacy policy and, if you wish to subscribe to Sony’s newsletter, also check the box above.
To confirm the changes applied, press the button Save placed at the bottom of the page and that’s it: starting from this moment, the date of birth on PSN (and, consequently, on the PlayStation) will be updated with the one just declared on the Sony website and can no longer be changed.
