Change email on PS4 account
The PlayStation 4 takes advantage of the service PlayStation Network for online play. To change the email on your PS4 account, you will then need to act on thePSN account associated with it. Recover PS4 emails
How do you say? Forgot the email address you used to sign up for PlayStation Network? You will be happy to know that you are in the right place, at the right time. In fact, I am going to explain to you how to find the address you used when registering for the service.
The first piece of advice I give you is to check the box Incoming mail of all your email addresses: Playstation has probably sent you messages in the past and the address where they reside is the one associated with the PlayStation Network, unless you have multiple accounts.

How to edit PS4 email
Once you have found the email associated with your PlayStation Network account, you can proceed with changing the address. Sony is always very attentive to the user experience offered by its consoles and, for this reason, allows you to manage your profile directly from PlayStation 4 and through a simple procedure. So take five minutes of free time and follow the instructions I am about to give you.
First, go to the toolbar top and press the button X controller above the icon Settings. Then select Account management and subsequently Account information. At this point, press the button X of the controller above the writing Login ID (email address) e enter the new email you want to use in the screen that appears. Next, select Confirmation and you will receive an email containing a link to confirm the change of address.
The PlayStation 4 will notify you with the following message “If you change your login ID (email address), you will automatically log out of PlayStation Network and need to verify your email address to log back in”. This means that once you change your email address, you will need to log in again on all devices associated with your PSN account.
Change PS4 email from PC
Obviously it is possible to change the email associated with the PlayStation Network account also through a common computer browser. The procedure to follow is very simple.
In fact, you just need to connect to the official PlayStation site and click on the writing Log in located at the top right. Then enter theemail address and the password of your PSN account and click the blue button Log in.
Next, you need to click on the inscription My Playstation present at the top right and select the option Profile in the screen that appears. At this point, scroll down the page, click on the item Privacy Settings, select the option Safety from the bar on the left and then click on the button Edit located to the right of the sign Login ID.
Finally, delete the old address and enter the new one in the space provided and click Save. You may be asked for various confirmations or codes, depending on your account security settings.

Change PS4 emails from smartphones and tablets
Sony has been launching for some time too PlayStation App, the official application for Android and iOS that allows you to manage the entire PlayStation ecosystem from smartphones and tablets. It also allows you to change the information related to the privacy of your account, where it is also possible change PS4 email. The procedure to follow is very simple and all you have to do is take five minutes of free time to complete it.
Once the PlayStation App has started, tap theAccount icon (the last at the bottom right) e swipe from bottom to top the screen that appears. Now, tap on three vertical dots present at the top right and, from the drop-down menu that appears, select the item Privacy settings. The application may ask you to re-enter the password of your account. If so, enter it and tap on Continues.
Then tap onthree horizontal lines icon located at the top left, select the item Safety from the screen that opens, press the button Edit which is located to the right of the writing Login ID and finally, enter the new address on the page that appears and tap the blue button Save.
Sony may send you a confirmation email, ask you again for your password or some other type of code, depending on your account’s security settings.

Contact the Sony service center
In case you are unable to change the email address associated with your PSN account, there may be problems that can only be solved with the help of Sony. Don’t worry though: we’re talking about a company that has a service center directly accessible online, which includes many useful tips and allows you to contact operators.
You just have to connect to the official Sony support site and write a brief description of the problem you encountered in the search bar placed in the center of the page. The portal will explain what can be done.
In case you can’t find the login ID anymore, write “i lost email”And scroll the page that will open. Usually, Sony recommends that you bring identity card with photo and click on the blue inscription Call us present at the bottom of the page.
At this point, you will be notified of the number to call and the times when the service is available. Therefore carry out the call and explains the problem to the operator. I assure you that the Sony support team will do everything to try and fix it.
