How to disable STARZPLAY from computer
The procedure for disable STARZPLAY it’s quick and easy. If you have activated a subscription from a computer using PayPal or a credit / debit card as a payment method, all you have to do is access your account settings and select the option to disable the automatic renewal of the service.
To proceed, then connect to the official STARZPLAY website and, if you have not yet done so, access your account: then click on the item Log in, at the top right, enter your login details in the fields Email address And Password, press the button again Log in and select yours vision profile.
Now, click on theprofile picture associated with your account, at the top right, select the option Settings from the opened menu and, in the new screen displayed, locate the section My subscription.
At this point, for deactivate the renewal of STARZPLAY, press the button Cancel subscription, put the check mark next to one of the options to specify the reason for the cancellation of the service (There aren’t enough shows and movies, Is too expensive, I use another subscription service, Other etc.) and click on the button Continue canceling twice in a row.
In some cases, to change your mind, STARZPLAY may offer you a discount on the monthly cost of your subscription (usually € 1.99 / month for 6 months instead of € 4.99 / month): if you view the screen Do not go!, press the button Take advantage of the discount, to redeem the discount offered and continue your subscription.
If, on the other hand, you want to definitively put an end to your experience on STARZPLAY, click on the button again Continue canceling, press the button X to refuse further discounts on the monthly subscription price, enter the password of your account in the appropriate field and click on the button Cancel subscription: the message Cancellation confirmed will confirm the deactivation of your STARZPLAY subscription.
After deactivating STARZPLAY you can continue to use the service until the expiry date of your subscription. Furthermore, in case of second thoughts, you can reactivate your subscription at any time by accessing the section again Settings of your account and clicking on the button Reactivate visible next to the option My subscription.
How to disable STARZPLAY from app
For disable STARZPLAY from app, take your smartphone or tablet, start the STARZPLAY app for Android (also available on alternative stores, for devices without Google services) or iOS / iPadOS and select your vision profile.
At this point, click on the option More elements located in the menu at the bottom, tap on the item Settings and, in the new screen that appears, select the option Manage subscription.
Now, if you have activated STARZAPLAY via Google Play on Android and iTunes on iPhone / iPad, press the button Cancel subscription and indicate the reason for the cancellation by selecting one of the options available from Programs and movies don’t interest me, There aren’t enough shows and movies, I use another subscription service, Is too expensive etc.
By doing so, you will be offered to continue your subscription at an advantage price for 6 months (depending on the reason chosen above, the proposed price ranges between 1.49 euros / month and 2.99 euros / month): if you wish accept the proposed offer and continue your experience on STARZPLAY, tap the button Confirm to save.
If, on the other hand, you want to complete the deactivation of your subscription, click on the option Cancel subscription and, automatically, you will be redirected to the section Subscriptions of the Play Store, if you have a device Android, or yours iPhone / iPad. Either way, all you have to do is locate the section Active, press on the subscription related to STARZPLAY and select the option for cancel your subscription.
If, on the other hand, you have previously activated a subscription to STARZPLAY from a computer and, now, you would like to deactivate it from the service app, access the section Settings of your account and tap on the item Subscription management, to be redirected to the official website of the service.
In the new screen that appears, locate the section My subscription, tap on the option Cancel subscription and follow the instructions I gave you in the previous paragraphs to disable STARZPLAY from your computer.
How to deactivate STARZPLAY from Amazon
As you probably already know, STARZPLAY is also available as an additional channel on Amazon Prime Video, Amazon’s video streaming service dedicated to all users who have activated a Prime subscription, which can be accessed by activating a specific subscription.
If this is your case and, now, you would like to know how to disable STARZPLAY from Amazon Prime, connected to the main page of Prime Video, press the button Amazon Prime customer? Log in and log in with the credentials associated with your Amazon account.
Once this is done, click on yours first name, at the top right, select the option Accounts and settings from the opened menu and, in the new screen displayed, press on the item Channels. At this point, in the Your channels section, click on the option Disable channel relative to STARZPLAY and press the button again Disable channel to confirm your intention.
If you prefer to proceed from smartphones and tablets, you should know that using the Prime Video app for Android (also available on alternative stores, for devices without Google services) and iOS / iPadOS it is not possible to deactivate the subscription to STARZPLAY or to any other channel to which you have subscribed .
However, by starting the browser you usually use to browse the web (eg. Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone / iPad), you can connect to the official Prime Video website and follow the instructions I gave you previously to proceed from a computer.
In case of problems
If you followed the instructions I gave you in the previous paragraphs of this guide, you should be able to deactivate the automatic renewal of your STARZPLAY subscription. If not, I recommend that you contact the service staff and request assistance.
To do it from computer, connected to the official STARZPLAY website, click onprofile picture associated with your account, at the top right and select the option Settings from the opened menu. In the new screen that appears, locate the box General information and help and press on the item Contact us.
At this point, enter the required data in the fields First name, E-mail And confirm email, specify the problem encountered with the deactivation of your subscription in the field Message and click on the button Send Message, to send your request.
If you prefer to proceed from smartphone or tablet, start the STARZPLAY app, click on the item More elements located in the bottom menu and select the option Settings. Now, tap on the item Contact us, enter yours first name and yours email address in the appropriate fields and, after having described the problem encountered in the field Message, tap the button Send Message, to send your report.
