In fact, you must know that the security code is an account protection measure that is required following the activation of thetwo-factor authentication (can be activated in the menu Settings> Security> Two-Factor Authentication of the app), which requires you to enter, in addition to the classic password account, a “disposable” security code to confirm access to Instagram from an unrecognized device.
The security code in question can be received via authentication app (eg Google Authenticator) or SMS but, in case you do not have your own phone, you can also log in to the social network through alternative solutions.
For example, as I will explain to you in the course of this tutorial, it is possible to confirm access by using one of the backup codes which are provided when activating two-factor authentication on your account. For all the details, read on.

All you have to do, therefore, is to check if there are any apps on your smartphone Google Authenticator), Authy, 1Password or other apps that support the management of two-factor authentication OTP codes. If you find them, open them up and see if you find any traces of Instagram within them: if yes, copy the OTP code that you find in the authentication app, type it in Instagram and you should be able to log into your account.
To avoid having to enter the security code every time, you can authorize the device or browser from which you are logging in by pressing the buttons Authorize this device (from smartphones and tablets) or Save the information (from Web).
