You’ve been playing a lot at recently GTA 5, the popular title in Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series, and you’re especially enjoying the game’s multiplayer mode, called GTA Online. Here you have discovered that it is possible to obtain exclusive benefits by connecting your account with external services, in particular that of the video streaming platform Twitch (owned by Amazon), but you are not sure how to do it.
That’s the way it is, right? Then let me help you out. In the course of this guide, in fact, I will explain to you how to connect Twitch Prime to GTA providing you with all the information about the benefits that can be obtained by making the connection between the Twitch account and the game and the procedure for redeeming the “gifts” provided by Rockstar Games within its title.

Preliminary information
Before going into the details of the procedure on how to connect Twitch Prime to GTA, I think you might be interested in learning more about this possibility.
Well, the link in question allows you to take advantage of benefits included in Twitch Prime (now renamed to Prime Gaming) inside GTA. These advantages often consist of in-game elements: from bonus in terms of money (sometimes millions of dollars were also given away) up to very important structures for the purpose of completing GTA Online missions.
To give you a concrete example, which I will describe in more detail later, a December 2019 was given a game room, that is a structure of fundamental importance to complete the Shot at the Diamond ******. In short, linking the Twitch Prime profile to that of GTA Online can be very useful.
If you’ve come to this guide, you probably already know what is Twitch Prime and you also know the way to activate this subscription. However, in case you need it, I point out that I have also prepared tutorials on how to get Twitch Prime and how to connect Amazon Prime to Twitch.
Put simply, the benefits of Twitch Prime are included in the Amazon Prime subscription, the one that is used to have fast shipments in one day and many other services of Amazon (which is the company that owns Twitch). The service can be subscribed monthly (4.99 euros per month) or annually (36 euros per year). Furthermore, there is one 30 day free trial without obligation of renewal.
As for the University students, the latter can activate Prime Student, which costs 18 euros per year, lasts a maximum of 4 years and has a free trial period equal to 90 days. For all the details of the case, I suggest you consult my guide on how to get Amazon Prime for free (i.e. in free trial).
Speaking, instead, of the GTA Online profile, the one to which you need to connect the Twitch Prime account, here too you should already have one, but if in doubt I invite you to refer to my tutorials on how to join the GTA Social Club and how to access the GTA Social Club.
How to link Twitch Prime to GTA 5
After explaining the possibilities Twitch Prime offers, I’d say it’s time to take action and link the accounts involved. This procedure can be followed using any web browser.
To proceed, therefore, connected to the official Rockstar Games portal and follow the indications that appear on the screen. For completeness of information, I will guide you step by step in what you need to do.
Then press the yellow button Log in, type theemail address and the password associated with the account Social Club (the one from GTA Online) and click the button Log in, to log in. In case you used to play from console, you can also log in directly with i profile data that you use on your main platform.
Simply press on theplatform icon below and enter the data of login of the corresponding account: by clicking on the icon PlayStation you will have to enter the credentials of the PSN profile, while pressing on that of Xbox you will need to sign in to Xbox Live. By the way, you can also log in with profiles Facebook, Google And Twitter.
Once logged in, click the button Connect with Twitch, type the username and the password associated with your profile and press the button Log in. In some cases, you may be asked to enter a security code, which will be sent to you via e-mail or telephone number, depending on the security settings of your account.
At this point, choose who can see the information related to the linked account, by selecting one of the available options from All, Friends and crew, Friends And Only me, then press the button Continues. Perfect, your Twitch and Social Club accounts are now linked.
Next, you will be prompted to connect theplatform account you usually play from. However, if you are playing GTA Online, this step should usually be completed already. If not, just tap on one of the buttons available (eg Connect with PlayStation) ed log in with that profile.
How to redeem content
Now that you’ve successfully linked the accounts involved, it’s time to redeem the bonuses offered by Twitch Prime.
Scroll down the page from which you connected the profiles and press the button Check out the Grand Theft Auto Online bonuses. The portal will warn you that you must have completed the tutorial of the game to get these benefits and that, to get some bonuses, it might take too 7 to 10 days, as Rockstar Games has to manage the registration you just made.
The Twitch Prime page will then appear on the screen, showing you the bonuses currently available, which are the ones you can redeem. Then press the button Log in present at the top right and click on the button Authorize, to allow Twitch Prime Loot, the service that “bestows” bonuses, to log into your Twitch account.
In some cases, you may need to press on the item Link your account to redeem the loot and then again on the button Check out Grand Theft Auto Online bonuses. Then click on the button Redeem now and you should see a message appear on the screen confirming that the rewards have been redeemed.
Great, now you just have to understand how to use that prize. THE money they are usually given out in a way automatic when you do theaccess to GTA Online, but there are some rewards that need to be redeemed “manually” within the game.
For example, the Pixel Pete game room, gifted by Twitch Prime starting from December 2019, must be “claimed” directly through a in-game procedure. In particular, if you haven’t done so yet, you need to go to the character Lester in Mirror Park and talk to him.
Once the cutscene is finished, open the mobile phone of the character (pressing, for example, up arrow on PS4), click on the icon Internet, go to the card FINANCE AND SERVICES and access the portal of the Foreclosure Maze Bank. After that, press the button first COME IN and then on that GAME ROOMS, present at the top right.
Now, go to the top left of the map and select the structure Pixel Pete’s in Paleto Bay. If everything has been done correctly and you are still in the period in which this “gift” is valid, you should see the writing FREE. So you just need to press the button BUY to successfully redeem the prize.
