From time to time I get messages from my readers asking me how to see Facebook profile if you are not friends. Most are already subscribed to the famous social network of Mark Zuckerberg and are looking for a practical and “painless” system to view details and posts of people not on the friends list, while others want to understand how to succeed without having an account themselves. on the famous service. To try to satisfy both needs, I therefore decided to write my post on the subject.
In the following lines I will therefore go through all the various and possible practices currently available to succeed in the enterprise, both in one case and another. In order to avoid misunderstandings, however, I would like to point out one thing right away: any dubious methods or methods that may in some way violate the privacy of users as well as the law are strongly excluded from this guide. All of the methods below are 100% legal and can be tried by anyone, from the most computer-savvy to those who are new to the world of technology and the Internet.
Having said that, I would suggest not wasting any more time in chatting and getting into the matter immediately. Therefore, if you too are part of the ranks of readers who have written to me about it or who are interested in the subject, I can do nothing but suggest you take a few minutes of time, book everything for yourself, get comfortable and concentrate. on reading this tutorial. I sincerely hope that in the end you can feel very happy and satisfied with what you have learned.

First method
You probably weren’t aware of it but you should know that even if you are not friends with a given user on Facebook you can still access their profile and view all the information made public. The range of details accessible to you then widens further if the person whose profile you are interested in viewing has imposed the privacy of their data and posts in such a way that they are visible to friends of friends and if, of course, you have at least a mutual friend with the referring account.
Therefore, in order to view the profile on Facebook of a given user not present in your friends list, the first fundamental step you must take is to access your account on the social network (via computer or via an app for mobile device, it does not difference) and to type, in the search bar at the top, the name of the person whose diary you wish to “browse”. Then select the relevant search result from those proposed to you or press the button Enter on the keyboard and use the on-screen filters to refine the search results before selecting this or that other account.
Once the contact person’s profile is displayed, start scrolling through the diary. If there are posts accessible to you you will find them on display, you will be able to view all the likes and also accessible comments. If you are looking for something more specific, such as a photo or a video, you can also look at the individual sections that make up the diary by selecting the reference card from those found under the cover image (Information, Photo, Friends etc.). Great, don’t you think?
Second method
Another system available to see Facebook profile if you are not friends is to follow a given user through the appropriate function offered by the social network. In this way, friendship will not be directly requested from the reference person but all the updates of the same set as accessible in this case can be viewed directly in the social network home. Note that by doing so, the reference user will, however, receive a specific notification indicating the fact that he has a new follower.
To start following a user on Facebook, connected to the social network with your account, go to the profile of the person of interest by searching for it through the appropriate bar at the top and click on the button follow on the cover image. Then choose, from the menu that appears, whether to see the posts of the person in question at the top of the News section (Show first) or whether to leave the default setting for display (Default setting).
From a smartphone (or tablet), instead, you need to start the social network app, go to the profile of the person of interest, searching for it using the search bar at the top, tap on the button follow below the cover image and choose whether to see the person’s posts at the top of the News section (Show first) or whether to leave the default setting for display (Standard).
Whether from computer or mobile, once you have made your choice you will find all the updates of that given profile directly in the Facebook home and you will not have to carry out any searches from time to time.
In case of second thoughts, you can always and in any case stop being a follower of the user of your interest by going back to his profile, pressing the button follow and choosing the option Don’t follow anymore from the menu that is shown to you.
Third method
As an alternative to putting the above methods into practice, another way to see your Facebook profile if you are not a friend is to rely on the online service. Stalkscan. To the detriment of the name that would suggest something else, it is an online tool that offers the possibility to search all the public information of a person registered on Facebook, grouping the results under a single screen. It is quite simple to use, works with any web browser (both computer and mobile), and what’s more, it’s free.
Among the information that can be accessed using this tool there will be the possibility of discovering some data not visible on the profiles, photographs and posts in which the person sought has been tagged as well as all the posts that that particular user has liked or added a comment. It is important to underline that the site does not in any way violate Facebook’s privacy with illegal tools: all visible information is publicly available within the social network.
You ask me how it works? I’ll explain it to you right away. First of all, connect to the main page of the service and then type the link or the User ID of the user profile whose information you want to view in the appropriate search field in the center of the screen and press the key with the magnifying glass placed sideways. Once the page with the search results is displayed, click on the data of your interest and you can view everything directly on Facebook.
If you do not know what a link on a Facebook profile is, it is the “thing” that appears in the address bar of the browser after having committed a crime in the diary of the reference user. If you don’t know how to find the link of a given profile, you can try to compose it yourself using the formula consisting of the name and surname (ex. https://www.facebook.com/BestyGamesalvatore).
If, on the other hand, you don’t know whatUser ID, I inform you that this is the identification number of each profile on the social network. You can find it in the final part of the link to a given account, as I also explained to you in my article on how to find Facebook ID.
See Facebook profile from non-subscribers
As anticipated at the beginning, even non-subscribers to Mark Zuckerberg’s social network often wonder how to see a Facebook profile if you are not friends. If you are also part of this slice of users, know that there are several systems useful for this purpose but in all cases the visible information will only be those that the contact person has possibly chosen to make public and therefore accessible to anyone.
The most practical system you have at your disposal to succeed in the enterprise is to connect to the Facebook home page via the Web browser that you generally use to surf the net and then click on the item People which is at the bottom of the screen, in small size.
If prompted, type correctly the text displayed on the screen on the page which at this point will be shown to you in order to pass the security check and press the button Send then choose whether to browse the complete list of all the people registered on Facebook in alphabetical order (which in my humble opinion is a real madness considering the disproportionate number of subscribers!) or whether to carry out a targeted search using the appropriate field which is at the top, on the right.
You can then click on one of the names in the search results and view the details of his profile, such as some of his personal information and the pages he liked.
Other useful systems to view a given Facebook profile by non-subscribers consist in looking for the relative name and surname on Google or other search engines, then taking care to select the relevant results or relying on the use of specific Web services to identify contacts and details about this or that other person on the network, as in the case of Pipl. For more information on this, you can refer to my post on how to browse Facebook without registering through which I proceeded to talk to you about it in great detail.
Prevent your Facebook profile from being seen by non-friends
To finish off, as they say, I would also like to show you a whole series of practical tips that you would do well to take seriously if you want to prevent your Facebook profile from being consulted by non-friends as well as face together in the previous lines.
To limit the display of this or that other content on Facebook, log in to your account and go to the social network settings by clicking on the button with the down arrow which is at the top right and selecting the item Settings from the menu you see appearing. Then click on the item Privacy that you find on the side and change the settings regarding the display of your posts and the ways in which other users can find your account by selecting the options Only me, Friends or Friends of friends.
From a smartphone (or tablet), just start the app by logging into your account, press the button with the three lines horizontally on the right, scroll the displayed screen, select Settings and plug up Account settings from the menu that appears. On the next screen, presses on Privacy and proceed in the same way as I have indicated above, that is to say by changing the settings regarding the display of your posts and the ways in which other users can find your account.
Further changes to the profile privacy can be made for individual data and posts by going to the information or reference element in your diary, by clicking on the icon with the men, with the world or with the padlock corresponding and selecting the desired option from the menu that appears. The changes you make are applied instantly.
For further information on the aspects related to the privacy settings of the Facebook account, I highly recommend you read my tutorials on how to protect privacy on Facebook, how to privatize photos on Facebook and how to privatize friends on Facebook through which I proceeded to talk to you about the matter in great detail.
