By zapping your TV, you realized that it is not present among the various networks available Channel 20, the Mediaset home channel, visible by pressing the buttons in sequence 2 and 0 on the remote control or 5, 2 and 0 for the HD variant, on which sports matches as well as films and TV series are broadcast. Tune Channel 20 manually
You are interested in understanding how to tune Channel 20 in a manual? Then first of all find the correct frequency of the broadcaster. To do this, connect to the website of Dtti.it. This is an independent portal that allows you to find the frequencies of all digital terrestrial channels (therefore not just Canale 20), city by city.
Then select the name of your region (eg. Lazio digital terrestrial TV frequencies if you live in Lazio, Frequencies Milan Lombardy and Switzerland if you live in Lombardy, Campania digital terrestrial TV frequencies if you live in Campania and so on) and click on the exact name of your city (eg. Naples).
After doing this, you will see the complete list with the digital terrestrial channels and frequencies appear. Find the wording 20 Mediaset at the column Contents and take note of what is reported in the column Frequencies.
Then turn on the TV and grab the remote control of the appliance. If you have connected an external decoder to the TV, check that when the TV is switched on it also turns on and if not, start it up by pressing the appropriate button and then grab the relative remote control.
Then press the button Menu which is on the remote control in such a way as to access the section relating to the configuration of the device. Using the directional arrows always present on the remote control, select the item for the channel management and then the one to perform the manual tuning.
In the screen that appears, it indicates the frequency on which you have to search for Channel 20. Also check that it is set DTV and not ATV, in order to avoid carrying out a search on the obsolete analog frequencies.
Finally, select with the directional arrows that the on-screen words for on the remote control confirm the execution of the procedure and then the key Ok, always on the remote control. Then wait for the tuning to start and complete. In the end, if everything went well, you will finally be able to watch Mediaset’s Canale 20. Easier than that?
Note: Menu structures and items may vary depending on the make and model of the appliance used. Consequently, considering that I am not aware of what you have, the information I have given you in the previous lines may not correspond exactly to what you have displayed.
Tune Channel 20 automatically
As I told you at the beginning, it is also possible to tune Channel 20 in a automatic, without having to start the manual procedure above. In this case, however, keep it in mind, not only will the channel in question be “picked up” but all the other digital terrestrial channels will also be retuned.
To succeed, first turn on the TV (if you have not already done so) and grab the remote control of the device. If you have connected an external decoder to the TV, check that when the TV is switched on it also turns on and if not, start it up by pressing the appropriate button and then grab the remote control from the device.
Then press the button Menu on the remote control of your TV or on that of the decoder, so as to go to the section relating to the configuration. Using the directional arrows always present on the remote control, select the item relating to channel management and then the one for the automatic scan. As input source indicates theantenna.
Once this is done, select the on-screen button to start the procedure and press the button Ok on the remote control to confirm your choice.
At this point, the automatic search for Channel 20 and all other channels will start. At the end of the process, you should be perfectly able to see the much desired Mediaset channel as well as all the others.
Note: Also with regard to manual tuning, the structures and items of the menus may differ depending on the make and model of the device used. So, since I am not aware of what you have, the information I have given you in the previous lines may not exactly correspond to those you have displayed.
Watch Channel 20 in streaming
I had anticipated it at the opening: Canale 20 can also be watched in streaming. But how is it done? I’ll explain it to you right away. Even then it’s a real breeze.
To do this, open the browser you generally use to surf the net (eg. Chrome) and linked to the web page of Mediaset Play, the Mediaset website for viewing its contents in streaming and on demand, dedicated to Canale 20.
Then click on the tab Direct which is at the top center. Within a few moments, the streaming viewing of the channel will start using the appropriate player in the center of the page. Et voila!
If necessary, you can adjust the volume using the appropriate slider at the bottom right, in correspondence with the icon with thespeaker, and you can start full-screen viewing by pressing the button with the rectangle with open sides, which is always located at the bottom right. If, on the other hand, you want to pause the viewing, click on the button Pause which is at the bottom left. To resume playing the contents then click on the button Play, always located at the bottom left.

In case of problems
Have you followed my instructions on how to tune Channel 20 in detail but you continue to encounter problems and would like to understand how to deal with it? So do this: First, make one new tuning of the channel by running from the beginning the instructions on what to do that I gave you in the previous lines.
If despite this the problems persist and if you have a good dose of attention and concentration, try to fix theorientation of the antenna the TV, most likely the problems you are having are due to what.
To do this, follow the ad hoc instructions I gave you in my tutorial focused on how to orient your TV antenna. However, keep in mind that this is not an easy procedure to complete for those who have no experience in installing TV systems. So if you think that the thing is out of your reach, contact an aerialist and let him do the “dirty work”.
If, on the other hand, your problem is what you have noticed in zapping that Canale 20 is not ordered correctly, you can cope with the thing by changing the settings of the TV or those of the decoder, if you are using a foreign one.
Just select the reference channel, assign it the new numbering and confirm your choice. For more information on what to do, read my article dedicated to how to order TV channels through which I have provided you with detailed explanations.
If, on the other hand, you are having problems because you have not yet been able to find the option to tune Channel 20 on your TV or on your decoder or the indications I have given you are incorrect for the make and model of your device, take a look to the User Manual generally attached to the sales package of the device.
Alternatively, connect to the support and assistance section of the website of the company that produced the television or decoder and follow the download of the PDF manual from there. If this can help you, below you will find links to the sites of the main TV and decoder manufacturers.
