On computer, FIFA is managed directly by the Origin client, that is the program that “contains” all the games made by Electronic Arts. We are talking about the same software that the game asked you to install on your computer when it first started. To learn how to update FIFA, you just have to use the specific functionality implemented in the Origin program.

Now, click on Settings (the gear icon) and select the item Update game from the next menu, to check for updates. In this way, if Origin detects news, it will automatically download the update.
To enable the automatic updates option, which should actually already be active by default, click onyour account icon present at the bottom left and select the item Application settings.
At this point, press on the item APPLICATION, present at the top, and move up ON the lever linked to the voice Automatic game updates. This way, you should always have all games updated to the latest version available.

If, on the other hand, you have purchased FIFA in digital version, by downloading the entire game from the PlayStation Store, you don’t have to do anything. Sony provides, in fact, that every title downloaded from the PlayStation 4 internal store is already at the latest version and that all subsequent updates are downloaded automatically from the console. In some cases, the first update may be downloaded as a separate file from the game, but you don’t have to worry: the PS4 will pretty much do everything by itself and you just have to wait for the installation to finish.
By the way, to check the continuation of the various downloads, all you have to do is go, starting from the main screen of the PlayStation 4, in the toolbar top and first press the icon Notifications and later on that Download.
