HP Sprocket preview, small portable smartphone printer (photos and videos)
Smartphone photography is making great strides, but it is a real shame that all too often the shots remain confined to the memory of our devices. Wouldn’t it be much better to have them, for example, on the fridge at home?
For all the needs of this type and all the times you wanted something more tangible than a .jpg file to remember that trip to the sea, today we talk about HP Sprocket: it is a small portable printer that allows you to print on the go on a small photo paper of approx 5 x 7.5 cm (2 ″ x 3 ″) with 313 x 400 dpi resolution. Through theHP app for Android and iOS it is possible to customize the photo with various frames (we have been rewarded with hearts!), effects, writings and so on, but in itself we find ourselves in front of a normal Bluetooth printer that (theoretically) is compatible with any device it can start a print via Bluetooth.

The HP Sprocket does not need ink cartridges, as it uses Zink thermal printing technology: all you will need to periodically refill, therefore, is the appropriate photo paper (each block costs € 10, with 20 sheets). In addition, the photos are printed on adhesive paper: just remove the back cover to stick your pretty face wherever you like.
HP Sprocket was launched last week in Italy, is available in two colors black and white and costs € 150 on Amazon: below you can take a look at our preview; for our part, we will jealously guard our photos with hearts in the editorial office.
