iPhone 6S: same as the previous one, but also in pink (and with Force Touch)!
There is already a lot of talk about Apple’s next smartphone, which conventionally should be called iPhone 6S (with 6S Plus variant): in the past weeks various information has already leaked, but a report from the Wall Street Journal also talks about a new color currently being tested: the pink.
According to reports, in fact, the Cupertino company is currently evaluating one new color, which could actually be a shade dedicated purely to the female audience. As for the rest, there shouldn’t be excessive cosmetic changes as well the dimensions will remain what we already know, as well as the camera.
The biggest hardware news will be the introduction of the Force Touch, which we have already seen on Apple Watch and on the new touchpad for MacBooks: it is a new technology that, thanks to specific sensors, is able to distinguish a simple touch from a prolonged pressure. In the latter case, it returns haptic feedback (a micro vibration) to the user: this new input mode opens up new possibilities for interaction with the smartphone, which could lead to interesting new features.
Obviously for the moment we are only talking about rumors and, although we are talking a lot about the introduction of the Force Touch, we will not be able to be sure until iPhone 6S is made official by Apple.
