Jolla announces Sailfish OS 2.0, which will be on Intex Technologies smartphones (video)

All Jolla fans will remember well that last week it was announced that the company will focus solely on its operating system, Sailfish OS, while by the end of the summer a new company will be founded that will take care of the production of the devices.

Speaking of this interesting operating system, two important news arrive from the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai: Jolla has indeed shown Sailfish OS 2.0, announcing that it will be available on devices Intex Technologies.

This is the first Jolla business partner to use the operating system in license: Intex Technologies is one of the most important vendors in the Indian market, which will launch models based on Jolla’s OS by the end of 2015.

As for Sailfish OS 2.0, it is the most important update which will bring a new UI, better support for Android apps and, of course, many improvements in terms of fluidity and stability. It will be available in the coming weeks for the first testers, but in the meantime we can admire it in the video below.
