Made in Spain: U-tad has three projects by students selected for the PlayStation Awards

U-tad is responsible for bringing out the hidden talent among young video game developers year after year. In each course this entity “forces” its students to give their best to produce incredible games that it is hard to think that they have been made in such a short time.

An example of the potential of U-tad students is that three of the four final master’s projects prepared by their students have been among the finalists of the PlayStation Awards 2016. Specifically, these are the projects of U-tad students who have reached the final of the awards, as announced by PlayStation Talents:

– Rascal Revolt.

Developed by the Seamantic Games team. A video game that bets on having the family sitting on the sofa enjoying this cooperative shooter where you don’t have to compete, but rather collaborate with each other to face the enemies that come in waves. All this seasoned with the sweet touch that the candies have that will serve to recover life in this game.

– Khara.

The members of DNA Softworks have developed this video game where the story is told without the need for words. A narrative within the context of Greek mythology, players will control Khara, a descendant of Atlanteans who must prevent the son of Neptune from taking control of the land of his ancestors.

– Intruders.

Tessera Studios bets on virtual reality in this game. An opportunity to feel the anguish of a child who has seen how his family is the victim of a kidnapping and he is the only hope to save the day. Hide, flee from the captors and try to put yours to safety in what may be the longest night of your life.

In addition, U-tad will also have more representation at the 2016 PlayStation Awards through Night & Day, a game that, although it does not belong to this promotion, it is made by alumni of this center. And if you belong to this group of young developers with good ideas, send us your projects through this email: [email protected]
