Pleasant atmosphere, good conversations, edifying lectures. This is the conclusion of the visitors and exhibitors who took part in the first MarketingIT Solution Forum in Düsseldorf yesterday in the premises of the Handelsblatt publishing group.
How do marketing management systems work, how can companies carry out online surveys, how can their pages be optimized on Google or which IT solutions allow to significantly increase customer satisfaction; these were the topics that moved the visitors to the small trade fair. A total of nine exhibitors, 150 participants and 18 lectures provided the framework that was used intensively for concentrated discussions.
“We were surprised at how long visitors stayed. Basically we wanted to offer a small in-house exhibition where marketing and sales decision-makers can take time to inquire about ways to increase efficiency through software, “says Christian Thunig, portal manager of marketingIT.de and deputy editor-in-chief of absatzwirtschaft – magazine for marketing.
One thing is certain: the need for clarification is high. Many marketing directors don’t even know what is possible, according to one of the exhibitors. However, software for marketing and sales support is becoming more and more important, since both efficiency must increase and the control of marketing is becoming more and more complex, so that Excel charts can no longer depict the processes by far.
The chances that marketing decision-makers can continue to find out more are good. There was a clear signal from both the exhibitor and the visitors: keep going. The date for the second marketingIT Solution Forum will therefore not be long in coming.
