In the second quarter of 2019, BLIK users completed almost 50 million transactions, and in the entire first half of this year, nearly 90 million transactions were made – i.e. as many as in the record-breaking 2018.
BLIK is becoming an increasingly popular payment tool. According to the declaration of this year’s Omni-commerce survey, BLIK mobile payments are considered by buyers to be the most convenient form of online payment.
BLIK closed the second quarter of 2019 with increases and transaction records in all channels. Nearly 35 million transactions made when shopping online, which is over 70 percent. all transactions. The second most popular way to use BLIK are withdrawals from ATMs – at that time there were 6 million of them (12% of all BLIK transactions). Payments in traditional terminals were as high as 5 million (almost twice as much as in the first quarter), users also made 3.6 million transfers to the BLIK telephone number.

– Poles love BLIK and still – from quarter to quarter – use it more and more often. We closed the first half of the year with a transaction level comparable to that of the entire previous year. Quarter-to-quarter, the number of online BLIK payments increased by 16%. Year on year, the increase was as much as 168%. In the second quarter, Poles performed an average of 545,000 jobs. daily BLIK transactions. On the best day of the quarter, there were 759 thousand. transaction – this is the best single day in BLIK’s history. The average amount of BLIK transactions in this period was PLN 131.
