New tool lets you add specific snippets to the playlist

Google just made life easier for those who like to create playlists on YouTube. The user now has the option to select specific excerpts and parts of videos and add them to their playlist. The change allows users to create remixes and use only the parts that interest them.

“Many of you have already told us that when making your playlists, you’d like to include only certain clips and not the full video – like, for example, starting the video with just the dramatic scene or amazing play,” explained YouTube in its official blog. In addition to allowing customization of the Playlist, the editing tool has been revamped. All items such as “privacy settings” and “description” are boxed on the right side. These changes will be available in the coming days to all YouTube users.
