New Trailer: Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Interscope Track Pack

Neversoft plays it safe with Guitar Hero III and leaves the basics unchanged: colored notes are still sliding towards you and you have to strike the right chord at the right time. The main additions to this section are the famous guitarists who form main bosses, the Battle mode and the possibility to rock online: together with a friend or against each other in a duel. In this you play against each other and if you play certain sections flawlessly, you get power-ups that you can use to make it extra difficult for the other person. All in all, Neversoft seems to have done its job well with Guitar Hero III.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is out for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Wii.

The Interscope Track Pack is now available to download, featuring songs from the likes of Flyleaf, AFI and a Yeah Yeah Yeahs remix of Marilyn Manson’s “Putting Holes in Happiness”. Watch the trailer now.
