According to Nikkei, the console manufacturer is preparing for a brutal business year.
- Nintendo plans to ship 30 million Switch consoles in the business year, according to Nikkei
- This is due to the arrival of the new, more powerful model
While Nintendo has been constantly trying to block it, rumors of a new, more powerful 4K-resolution Switch model have not been silenced: it is now the Japanese Nikkei that it is planning that a new variant is planned. When it may appear has not been detailed, but all indications are that Nintendo could target the holiday season with it.
According to Nikkei, the manufacturer expects roughly 30 million consoles delivered for the new business year that began in April, which is an astonishing amount on the one hand and it predicts that the new variant may indeed arrive, giving new impetus to the already fantastically performing console. We can be sure of the latter as early as this week, as Nintendo’s business report is coming in, in which we are expected to see the forecast for this year.
