Although the Xbox 360 is stunting with its prices, the Wii won’t dare to do that for the time being. That is what Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo America knows to tell. As the PS3 and Xbox 360 have done before, the Wii will eventually drop in price. For now, according to Reggie, it is not the time for that yet.

Reggie also discussed the support of third parties. According to his colleague Cammie Dunaway, in 2009 third party developers will make sure people change their mind about the Wii. However, Reggie refutes this; according to him, titles that don’t have ‘it’ are missing. He won’t be able to change his mind until the developers release their very best titles on the Wii and don’t use the Wii for extra cash. Exceptions would then be titles such as No More Heroes, Okami and De Blob, which comes from Dutch soil.
