The new gadget called PYUA is one of the more fun ways to play classic Nintendo video games mixed with retro art.

Swedish designer Love Hultén, whose numerous retro creations have blurred the line between a gadget and a work of art, created a project called PYUA, which is both a tribute to the Nintendo console and a console compatible with classic NES and Famicom tapes. Hultén says Pyua runs without lag or loss for the original Nintendo games.

Pyua supports 1080p video playback via an HDMI cable and comes with two custom wireless NES controllers, created by enthusiasts of 8BitDo.

If we are ever happy owners of Pyua from Hultén, who makes his designs available for production from time to time – there is also a special case for 20 cartridges with classic Nintendo games.

This is not the first time that we can witness a modern take on retro games from Hultén. The OriginX is another Hultén creation – a custom made wooden arcade cabinet priced at $ 3,416.52 and a limited supply of 50.
