Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2 Announced

Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2 Announced

MTV Games has teamed up with Harmonix to announce a new trackpack for the Rock Band series. This time the expansion will be called “Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2”. The expansion brings 20 new songs to jam to and these can be played via the DVD or downloaded to the console. The music is very diverse, from Weezer to Judas Priest and from Distrubed to The Police.

The Track Pack will work on all versions of Rock Band, so if you don’t already have Rock Band 2 but do have Rock Band 1, you can still jam along. The expansion will be released on November 17. The first Track Pack was only for the Nintendo Wii and the Playstation 2, but volume 2 will also be coming to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. The full track list can be read below:

Rock Band is a game that has to transfer the musical childhood dream in a virtual form to the next-gen consoles. Rock Band is being developed by Harmonix, a developer who was partly responsible for the Guitar Hero series. The game can be played with four people who use controllers in the form of instruments (microphone, two guitars and a drum kit) to play music from big rock stars. The vast majority of the songs contain heavy rock, of course, but genres such as classic and country are also included.

Rock Band has already been released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
