Skate 2 Story trailer reveals the course of a great story

Your arrival in San Vanelona is hardly expected, but the adventure that awaits you in Skate 2 is one of unprecedented height. Let Big Black keep the security around Downtown busy so you can take over the corrupt area and team up with Rob Dyrdek to turn Downtown back into a skateboarding mecca, meanwhile meet your old friends from Regs and Slappy’s, keep skateboarding for Skateboard Mag and Trasher for cash and represent your front foot in the Regular vs Goofy tournament. Skateboard mecca San Vanelona, ​​according to the pros of the first Skate, is no longer what it once was, even the hero of the then perfect San Vanelona had to skateboard elsewhere because of the too high security on the streets. However, five years later, the pro skateboarders are back, including you. It’s up to you and the skateboarders to turn the untapped yet very potent skate area “New San Vanelona” back into what it was once known for: the skateboarding mecca. This time your backpack contains an extra large bag of tricks (including footloose grabs, handplants, fingerflips), the ability to move objects, step off your shelf and of course your all-important creativity.

Skate 2 will be released in January 2009 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the exact date is still unknown.
