The company’s CEO said no delays are expected due to the coronavirus epidemic, with September still the target.
- So far, the coronavirus epidemic has not caused a major disruption to the CD Project
- September is still being targeted with Cyberpunk 2077
You can already read about the great financial metrics of the CD Project and the second flourishing of The Witcher 3 in connection with the company’s business report. But what about their next game, Cyberpunk 2077? To what extent is the coronavirus epidemic hampering work? The good news is that only to a minimal extent.
The company’s CEO, Adam Kicinski, said they haven’t had to change recent plans yet:
“There is still no shortage of motivation, just as we have the tools to work remotely. We have been doing this for more than three weeks now, and the results so far show that we can continue to operate without major disruptions. Plans have not changed – September release continues target for Cyberpunk 2077, ”he said.
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally due to be released on April 16, a week today, but its premiere was postponed for almost half a year until mid-January, until September 17th.
