Film and advertisements show the fact that women feel powerful when they make up

Avon has just launched a campaign under the concept “You with super powers”, which shows how makeup can awaken women’s transformation, hypnosis, telepathy and magnetism. Both the movie and the advertisements highlight the Avon makeup line. Created by 141SohoSquare, a unit of Grey141, the commercial was shot in Barcelona and shows different situations. The ads, on the other hand, carry headlines such as “Telepathy. It’s never been easier to get a message across without saying a single word.” “To work on this concept, Avon appropriated a very true insight: the fact that women feel powerful when they put on make-up”, comments Juliana Barros, make-up category manager at Avon Brazil. The creation is signed by Rogerio Lima and Cristiane Parede, with Celso Alfieri’s creative direction. The film is produced by Albinana Filmes and marks the debut of the production company, which has offices in Europe, on Brazilian soil.
