Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet arrives in Europe for less than €400

What to expect from this Tablet? It’s an 11-inch device, with an LCD screen instead of OLED, and it’s built on slightly older Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 hardware. So it can’t be called ultra high-end – but the prices make this Xiaomi option worth it.

Not by chance, the day after Apple announced a new iPad mini, Xiaomi launches the new Android Tablet under the name Xiaomi Pad 5. However, it is not a big surprise that Xiaomi has presented a new tablet, as a similar model was released in China in August. Now the Pad 5 reaches the European market.

After all, it’s rare to see good Android tablets, with the exception being Samsung’s Tab S and Huawei’s Mediapad. Xiaomi brings some attractive news. There’s a 120Hz refresh rate to start with to keep it looking smooth. The WQHD+ resolution offers a mountain of pixels (2960 x 1440).

The tablet has an 11-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, accompanied by a refresh rate of 120Hz. Inside, the tablet has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor. It will also come with a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. The sound system consists of four speakers that support Dolby Atmos. The 8,720mAh battery, which the company claims will last all day on a single charge, can be powered with the included 22.5W charger. It also supports the company’s Xiaomi Smart Pen, although it’s a separate accessory purchase.
