Ymobile postpones launch of Huawei P30 Lite in Japan


Ymobile – SoftBank Corp’s low-cost mobile technology operator, has delayed the launch of the Huawei P30 Lite due to US trade restrictions. To protect itself from any loss, the company needs time to assess the impact of the US trade ban.

Since the imposition of trade restrictions by the US, Huawei is struggling to ensure sufficient sales. Uncertainty among users of Huawei about future updates and after-sales service is further tarnishing the company’s reputation. Unfortunately, the Huawei hit another hurdle in Japan. SoftBank Corp’s low-cost mobile technology operator Ymobile has delayed launch of Huawei P30 Lite, due to US trade restrictions. To protect itself from any loss, the company needs time to assess the impact of the US trade ban. Hiroyuki Mizukami, Ymobile spokesman said:

Ymobile is not sure about the release of Huawei P30 Pro. Likewise, another Japanese operator – KDDI has carried out the sale of handsets since Wednesday. KDDI spokeswoman Reiko Nakamura said:

Whereas, Japan’s largest telecom operator, NTT Docomo is currently assessing the situation and must hold reservations for the smartphone Huawei P30 Pro. The company mentions that they are:

“considering the possibility of interrupting the receipt of sales orders for the HUAWEI P30 Pro that we plan to launch this summer.”

Last week, the President of the United States – Donald Trump blacklisted the Huawei and classifies this as It prevented all US companies from providing equipment and other services to the Huawei. THE Google particularly banned Android support for devices Huawei, however, was later delayed for 90 days. Several companies, which include the ARM, a qualcomm and Intel terminated their agreements with Huawei.
