Background: Patch 1.61 has been released for Cyberpunk 2077. He added support for AMD FSR 2.1 and solved the problem with umbrellas Yesterday (November 8) saw the release of patch 1.61 for Cyberpunk 2077, which not only fixes some bugs, but also adds support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 (Temporal Image scaling technology). There are already several comparison videos online where you can see how the 1.6 and 1.61 versions of the game differ.

In the first video, the game was compared on PC with NVIDIA RTX 3080 and Intel Core I7 10700F (tested with ray tracing). In the new version you can notice a slight increase in frame rate (by a few FPS).

The second video (tested on AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT with ray tracing) shows how AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 technology (available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) affects frame rates:

  • Without FSR – 22-30 FPS;
  • C FSR 2.1 – 42-54 FPS;
  • With FSR 2.1 (High Performance Mode) – 60-76 FPS.

Thus, we can conclude that patch 1.61 has had a really positive impact on the performance of the game, which can now boast higher FPS than before. This is especially noticeable when you enable FSR 2.1.

Remember that earlier in Cyberpunk 2077 they added new 4K textures with the help of a mod that made the graphics even better.? This kid can drag Cyberpunk 2077 at 30 FPS
