A new Tomb Raider based on Unreal Engine 5 is in development, Crystal Dynamics Studio is working on the game

A new full-fledged part of Tomb Raider is in development. This was announced by the executive producer of the franchise Dallas Dickinson (Dallas Dickinson) during the presentation of The State of Unreal. The game is built on Unreal Engine 5.

Dallas says his team is committed to delivering a high quality action-adventure game that is sure to please all fans. The project is being developed by the studio Crystal Dynamics, which published Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. The game’s release won’t happen anytime soon – now the studio is busy with post-release support for Marvel’s Avengers and the new Perfect Dark.

The latest entry in the series, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, was developed and published in 2018 by Eidos Montreal, the studio behind the Deus Ex series. The game received a mixed reception from critics and gamers alike.
