Despite never having been to the US – he used photos of film clips as references – nine30 created this incredible mod for Grand Theft Auto IV that transforms the city-sized game into a massive, not-so-New York desert street.

This mod, which unfortunately cannot be downloaded yet, is so long that you have to drive at top speed for more than three minutes to get to the end. It offers rest stops, cracked bitumen in the desert, traffic, everything that belongs to a truly legendary highway. Just great.

As the video above shows, all you need to do is add a few modded cars to get a whole new game.
