Crystal Dynamics announced the return of the rights to several “favorite” franchises. These include at least Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain. According to the studio, now only she controls the work on the gameplay.
Previously, the series was managed by Square Enix. In May, the company sold three studios and dozens of franchises to Embracer Group, including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, Legacy of Kain.
In April, Crystal Dynamics announced a new part of Tomb Raider on Unreal Engine 5. According to rumors, the game will be about 30-year-old Lara, who suffers from loneliness.
