The 2020 Game Developers Choice Awards were awarded.

The Game Developers Choice Awards would traditionally have taken place at the Game Developers Conference, but after the event was missed, the gala was not held – at least in the traditional form, as the winners were announced on an online stream. Let’s see what were the best creations of 2019 according to game developers!

With the highest hopes, Death Stranding awaited the award ceremony as it was also nominated in seven categories, but in the end, Kojima Productions became the biggest loser after winning a single award.

Not so with Control, which drew three out of five nominations, while Baba and You and Disco Elysium received two awards each. And in the top category, the Untitled Goose Game won, beating Death Stranding, Control, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Outer Wilds for five for Best Game.
