Global Facebook Awards 2017: These are the best Facebook and Instagram campaigns


Facebook has announced the global winners of its Facebook Awards. For the sixth time, the Facebook Awards recognize creative companies that have created impressive experiences on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger in the past twelve months.

To underline the importance of emotions in modern communication, the new categories Laugh, Cry, Love, Wow and Act were introduced this year. A total of 24 campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and the Audience Network were recognized.

No German creation among the winners

Unfortunately, there are no creations by German companies or creative professionals among the internationally awarded works this year. This result can only be perceived as an incentive to deal even more intensively in the future with creative possibilities such as mobile video, bots or live communication that Facebook, Instagram and Messenger offer.

“Moving people to feel and act”

“Every year we are impressed by the new ways creative people find to use Facebook and Instagram as the basis for their campaigns (…). They use our platforms to tell stories and increase interactions – with long and short videos. They try a huge range of formats and styles. And most importantly, they make people feel and act, ”says Facebook Business.
