In which areas can you find a chicken or hen in GTA Online? Where can you photograph a chicken or hen to complete the new Animal Photography Challenge? In the current animal photography challenge you have to find three randomly selected animals in Los Santos and then take a photo of them. At first it sounds easier than expected, provided you know in which areas you have to look for the animals and can find them. We had our problems finding a poodle but also a chicken and a hen. If you have a similar experience with the latter, this short guide can certainly help.
GTA 5 Online: Chicken and Hen location
Both the chicken and the hen can be found in the Sandy Shores small stand (see screenshot of the map section for location). In the village west of the small airfield there are a few houses with barns and stables. Some of the wanted chickens and hens are running around the stables. The animals are quite shy and will run away from the path when you approach them. For this reason, you should have your cell phone and camera at hand to get the animals in the photo.
In addition to the chicken and the hen, in the current animal photography challenge you also have to find other animals in Los Santos and photograph them with your cell phone camera. The following animals can be randomly selected.

- Chicken
- Chicken Hawk
- Cat
- crow
- Cow
- pug
- gull
- poodle
- Deer
- Pig
- wild boar
By the way, the wildlife photography challenge is only available to console players on the PS5 and Xbox Series. Anyone who plays GTA Online on the PC cannot accept and complete the challenge.
