Before going into the details of the procedure on how to bank money on GTA, I think it might interest you to learn more about how the Rockstar Games title manages its internal “currency”.
Well, the currency of GTA Online and GTA 5 are i dollars. The latter can be earned in various ways, mainly through activities which I covered in my tutorials on how to make money on GTA Online and how to make money on GTA offline.
Once some money has been raised, it is usually put into the personal wallet of the character. However, for avoid losing money to no avail on GTA Online, it is good to deposit your earnings in Bank. In particular, within the game there is the Maze Bank.
In this way, you will prevent users from being able to steal your money and you will be able to make purchases that necessarily require a passage to the bank. For example, to buy a house you usually need to have it first deposited the money.
How to deposit money in the GTA Online bank

From your mobile

Usually, you can find one of these ATMs near business. In any case, if you just can’t find an ATM, I recommend you try going to Rockford Hills. You can’t go wrong there: atintersection between the four roads there is International Online Unlimited and immediately below are found two ATMs.
I’ll also reveal a “secret” to you, resolving the doubts that many novice players in GTA Online have. In reality, although the ATM points are not marked on the map, you can set the destination through Interaction menu (e.g. by holding down the touchpad on PS4), by selecting the item ATM in the section GPS And giving confirmation (e.g. key X on PS4). This way, you will see it appear on the quick map directions to reach the nearest counter.
Once you get to the ATM point, just press the key that appears on the screen (eg. right arrow on PS4), select the option Deposit and choose the sum to put in the bank. After that, press the button Yup And that’s it.

How to deposit money in the GTA 5 bank
As for the Story mode of GTA 5, a question that often arises to many users is: can money be deposited through the same methods as in GTA Online? To dispel any possible doubts, I tried to use the mobile phone and ATM points even in this mode.
Well, trying to reach the Maze Bank website from the smartphone of Franklin, the message appears on the screen: “User name not recognized. Apparently the bank has no information about you ”. In fact, the various characters have accounts in different banks and the only one to have “agreements” with the Maze Bank And Michael, but he can only check how much money he has and look at it transaction list. Franklin can do the same with the Fleeca, while for Trevor you have to use the portal of the Bank of Liberty.
Going instead to a ATM point, like the one of Rockford Hills, the door lets you perform the login (just press, for example, right arrow on PS4), but even here you can only see the transactions made (for example, expenses from Ammu-Nation or money received from Lester for certain activities, about which I will not spoil you).
In short, in the Story mode it is not possible to deposit manually money in the bank, as in reality there is no “personal wallet” like that of GTA Online. Put simply, the money is already in the character’s account.
To deposit the money, the “employer” takes care of it automatically (for example, the character Lester). You don’t have to do anything but complete the missions and various activities.
